Cross Account Offline Conversion Tracking: This customer does not have an import conversion action that matches the conversion action provided

Hello,

We had started to use different client account under the Manager Account, and I'm trying to upload cross-account offline conversion.

I had created a conversion in the Manager Account, then tried to upload a conversion, its gclid belongs to the child account,  to the Manager Account.

 but getting the error:"
This customer does not have an import conversion action that matches the conversion action provided"

Here are some info that may help:

Manager Account ID: 6118566533
Child Account ID: 6834254601
Conversion Action ID in the Manager Account: 832268110

So our team can take a closer look at the issue, could you share the complete request and response logs, with the request-id, generated when the said error occurred? If you haven't yet, logging can be enabled by navigating to the Client libraries > Your client library (ex. Java) > Logging documentation, which you can access from this link.

You may then send the requested information via the Reply privately to author option. If this option is not available, you may send the details directly to our googleadsa...@google.com alias instead.

What type of conversion did you create in the manager account? Was it a Website or Import conversion? We frequently see this issue when people build Website instead of import conversions.

Hi Jim,

It' was an Import conversion. Now, I'm able to send conversions. I think the reason was that I was trying to upload clicks that are occurred before I enable the cross-account conversion.

Hello,

Thank you for getting back to us.

It's good to know that you're now able to send conversions. As also mentioned on this guide, you can set up and query cross-account conversion actions using the API, but you must opt in your accounts to cross-account conversion tracking from the manager account.
