For already created campaigns, how can we get the location targeting for each campaign? How can we get the following data:
  • Inclusion or exclusion.
  • Zip code.
  • Counties.
  • Cities.
  • States.
Thank you,

Hi Samir,

You can target and exclude locations using the CampaignCriterionService and provide one of the location Ids found here. You'll be able to use different locations types such as cities, zip codes or countries. The field negative determines whether to target or exclude the location. Here is a comprehensive guide that provides details and samples on how to target locations.

Cheers,
Anthony

Thank you Anthony.
I have tried to use the GetCampaignCriterion of CampaignCriterionService to get the targeted locations, I got this response:

Service: CampaignCriterionService, Action: get, Response time: 213ms, Request ID: 0005bfeb47f5c2030a7b1c0db9026dab, Operations: 1, Is fault: false
Campaign ID xxx has 0 criteria.

Does this mean that there is no targeted location for that campaign?
Does GetCampaignCriterion of CampaignCriterionService only works with targets that were set using MutateCampaignCriteria of CampaignCriterionService?

Hi Samir,

I work with Anthony and let me provide further support to your concern.

Aside from what you've mentioned, it appears that there is no criteria associated to that specific campaign. Please note the said service will retrieve the information of the criteria whether it is associated using the UI or the CampaignCriterionService.

That being said, so that I can check if there is a location associated to the campaign or not, could you provide the following details via Reply privately to author option?

Thanks Anthony
