Stats of Asset group

With regard to your concern, please do note that campaign and asset ad group are different resources. In order for us to provide precise guidance, could you please provide to us a screenshot (un-cropped) of your Google Ads API showing the entity/data that you want to pull via Google Ads API?

Hi,

I know that campaign and asset_group from different resources. In one campaign can have multiple asset_group, with per asset_group have own metrics. And my question is that "I would expect the metrics of the campaign would be the the sum of all asset_group metrics",
Example: campaign's conversions = asset_group_1's conversions + asset_group_2's converions ..+ asset_group_n' s conversion. Hope is is clear to you.

With regards to your concern, you mentioned that you want to get the metrics of the campaign from the combined asset group metrics. Please note that the API mirrors the Google Ads UI. Meaning, the Google Ads API should be able to pull the data that the Google Ads UI is showing. 

With that being said, can you provide the full (not cropped) screenshots of the campaign / asset_group metrics that you are referring to from Google Ads UI? It would be better if you provide the non-cropped non-redacted full screenshot of this UI report

Thank for your infor, but Can you answer my question directly? Can you confirm that the stats of campaign will be sum of all asset_group's stats, right?

I'm afraid that we cannot further comment on whether the stats of the campaign will be the exact sum of all of asset_group's stats as the data accumulation is more product-related. The Google Ads API just mirrors the data you are seeing in the UI. That being said, if you want further insights on this, then I would suggest you reach out instead to the Product Team via this link, as they are the appropriate team to provide guidance on this matter.
