Persistent chttp2_transport.cc Assertion Failure in Google Ads API

Hello.

We are using the Google Ads API to collect data within a containerized environment. Since May 2025, we have been encountering the following error repeatedly:

ERROR : E0714 10:28:01.335742049 28 chttp2_transport.cc:2900] ASSERTION FAILED: t->next_bdp_ping_timer_handle != TaskHandle::kInvalid

Interestingly, when running the same API calls locally, we do not experience this issue.

Could you please help us identify the root cause of this error and recommend any potential solutions or workarounds?

Kindly note that the provided logs are incomplete. In order to assist further, could you please provide the following information:

• Please provide us with the complete API logs of errors with (request and response with request-id and request header) generated at your end.

If you are using a client library and haven't enabled the logging yet, I would request you to enable logging for the specific client library that you are using. You can refer to the guides Java, .Net, PHP, Python, Ruby or Perl to enable logging at your end. For REST interface requests, you can enable logging via the curl command by using the -i flag.

We pulled the logs with the provided request id ‘GJpA3h_AvS77NuPAj6Sxcw’ and couldn't find any errors or issues with the respective API request. So to investigate the issue further, could you please provide the complete API logs (request and response logs with request-id and request header) generated at your end where you observed the errors in the API response? These logs will assist in confirming whether the issue originated from the API side.
