Hello,

I have Admin access to my company's Ads console, but when I try to look for the API Center to request the developer token is not visible. This is a production instance not a test one, we are serving ads from here. Coudl you please let me know how I can make it visible or if I need to change my type of access from admin?

Thanks,

Hi,

Thank you for reaching out to the Google Ads API support team.

After reviewing your concern, I understand that you are not able to view the API center option in your Google Ads account.

In order to assist you further, can you please confirm if you are logging into a Google Ads Manager account? Kindly note that a client account does not have an API center and only the Manager can access the API center. So, make sure that you're under the MCC account to see the API center on your end.

I hope this helps. Kindly get back to us if you have any further questions related to the Google Ads API.

Hi,

Thank you for reaching out to the Google Ads API support team.

After reviewing your concern, I understand that you are not able to view the API center option in your Google Ads account. Kindly note that as per this “Linking to Manager Accounts” documentation, manager accounts are Google Ads accounts that are used for administrative purposes and not for serving ads. They act as single points of access for the accounts they manage, so are used in setting up consolidated billing and other features across multiple accounts.

If you are signed in with your Google Ads manager account and yet you still can't see the Google Ads API center in the Google Ads UI, then I would recommend you reaching out to the Google Ads Product support team as they are better equipped to address your concerns. Please note that we can only assist with issues/concerns related to the Google Ads API.
