Hello,

I'm trying to create a new user list and getting this error:

Advertiser needs to be on the allow-list to use remarketing lists created from advertiser uploaded data (e.g., Customer Match lists).

Then I've encountered this article that explains what conditions should be met in order to get this feature enabled:

But my question is - Is there any way to work against this API for development purposes? In my case, I'm using a test account so it's obviously that the ads won't run eventually... Any kind of sandbox?

Hi Yossi,

While it may be possible to allowlist a test account for customer match (you may reach out to your Google representative for more information or confirmation), I'm afraid that it would not be possible for ads or entities belonging to test accounts to serve and generate statistics.

That said, the only sandbox feature of the Ads API is by way of using test accounts and via this feature, your userlists may automatically close, as briefly discussed as well in this old AdWords API's documentation.
