Ad Group Ad service: ADD Operation not working

Hi,

I am using Google AdWords API to my system and using only the test account for this.

1. While using 'adGroupAdService' , If I am sending ADD request, I am getting below error:

       "[OperationAccessDenied.ADD_OPERATION_NOT_PERMITTED @ class campaignmgmt.feed.feed.MutateAction (ADD) requires CREATE_CAMPAIGN]".

2. In the WSDL, all headers and request fields are marked as optional but while executing the same , I am getting Error and some are mandatory. :(

3. The ENUMS provided in the 'get' resources aren't valid. Used 'Unknown' and 'contains' . INVALID values.

Kindly help me resolving these issues.

Hi Neha,

The ADD_OPERATION_NOT_PERMITTED error means that you are trying to add a campaign in a manager account, instead of a client account. Could you confirm that you are using an MCC Id for this operation? If you are, then kindly use a test client account, instead of test MCC account.

If the issue still persists after doing the suggestion, then kindly provide your clientCustomerId as well as the SOAP request and response logs so I can further investigate. Kindly use the Reply privately to author option when replying.
