How to retrieve remaining account budget using GAQL (Google Ads API v20 - C#)?

Hi everyone,

I'm working on an integration using the Google Ads API v20 with C# (via the official NuGet package), and I'm trying to retrieve the remaining account budget — that is, how much money is still available to spend in the account — using GAQL.

I’ve already explored resources like account_budget, customer_budget, and account_budget_proposal, but I haven’t found a field such as remaining_amount or any that directly provides the remaining balance.

In the Google Ads UI, there's a value shown for daily remaining budget and total remaining budget, but I couldn't find a way to get that through the API or GAQL queries.

Is there a way to retrieve this value directly?
If not, is there a recommended way to calculate or estimate it using available fields?

Any guidance or sample GAQL would be greatly appreciated!

Regarding your concerns about the remaining account budget field and total daily budget data fields, it's important to clarify that the Google Ads API does not offer direct methods to calculate or retrieve either the "remaining account budget" or "total daily budget" data fields. We understand that this information might be crucial for your operational needs, but it's currently beyond the scope of what the Google Ads API supports. Therefore, any attempts to programmatically access or retrieve the remaining account budget, total daily budget data is not supported in the Google Ads API.

I will raise a request for this feature to become available in the Google Ads API. We cannot provide a scheduled timeline for the availability of this feature in the Google Ads API. I would recommend you please follow our Release Notes and Blog Post for future updates.
