According to the Google Ads API documentation (https://developers.google.com/google-ads/api/docs/account-management/advertiser-identity-verification#c_1) it should now be possible to retrieve identity verification information from the Google Ads API (V16). However, every time I use the method, the response is a GoogleAdsException containing the IdentityVerificationError 'NO_EFFECTIVE_BILLING' ('Customer does not have an active billing linked.'). I have tried the method for over 20 different customers, most of which have been active (and have been billed) for quite a while now, but the response is always the same. Any ideas on how to get the actual response (as in the list of IdentityVerification objects)?

Thank you for reaching out to the Google Ads API support team.

By reviewing your concern, I understand that you are encountering "NO_EFFECTIVE_BILLING" IdentityVerificationError while requesting identity verification information from the Google Ads API (V16). which means no effective billing linked to this customer. I would recommend you to check Release notes regarding manage advertiser verification for more information.

In order to GetIdentityVerification() can be used for retrieving verification information, which returns several objects of IdentityVerification. I could see you have provided partial logs which is not sufficient for us to investigate further. Could you please provide us with complete API logs (request and response with request-id and request header) generated at your end to assist you further.

In order to investigate the issue further, provide us with the updated complete API logs (request and response with request-id and request header) generated at your end.
