Helle, I am looking for some experts insights here, Let's say a user comes from organic traffic or another source and buys something online or offline. I will not have a GCLID to register the conversion but i can still do it with the phone or email ? Is that a good idea knowing the user didn't come from a google ad ? Will it still help the google algorithm improve the targeting or will it confuse it more than anything else ?
Thanks a lot for any insight !

Hi,
Thank you for reaching out to the Google Ads API support team.
I would recommend that you to use the enhanced conversions for leads, where you can pass the user_identifiers (Email address, Phone number, First name, Last name and Street address) with the normalized and hashed lead data. In EC for leads, the gclid is optional.
