Hello Google Ads API Community and Admins,
Our team, and likely many others in the community, would greatly benefit from the ability to access Auction Insights data directly via the Google Ads API.
The Challenge:
Currently, this crucial competitive data is only available through the Google Ads UI. This makes large-scale analysis across numerous accounts, campaigns, or custom date ranges a highly manual and inefficient process. Automating this data retrieval is essential for building scalable reporting, monitoring competitive shifts, and making timely strategic decisions. We previously relied on a Looker (now Looker Studio) integration for this, and its absence has created a significant gap in our analytical capabilities.
What We Know:
We have identified the specific Auction Insights metrics in the API documentation that we need access to. However, our attempts to query them suggest they are not publicly available and may require an allowlist/whitelist. Providing direct API access to these would solve our core challenge.

Our Questions:
Roadmap: Is there a public roadmap or an estimated timeline for when these specific Auction Insights metrics will be made generally available to all users of the Google Ads API?
Whitelist Program: Does the whitelisting program for accessing these metrics still exist? If so, what are the criteria for participation, and what is the official process to apply for access?
Alternatives: Are there any recommended alternative methods or partner tools that can currently provide automated access to this data?
