Hi, it seems that for custom combination lists, either based on website visitors or CRM, do not show a membership life span in the AdWords UI. (It just says "membership" which can be open or closed, but no number of days.) I've checked with my Google rep and they said that for combination lists, the life span depends on the life spans of the base lists that make the combination list. Is that correct? What is the exact logic, i.e. is it just the shortest of the base lists or does the boolean logic of the combination list come into consideration.
Also, it seems that membershipLifeSpan is a field in LogicalUserLists (i.e. Combination lists) and I'm able to both read the field and even set the value via the AdWords API. Can someone let me know if that field is just completely ignored or does it actually do something, especially given the first part of my question? Specifically I'm concerned that we generally set our CRM lists to 10,000 day, effectively never expiring, but we also create combinations on top of those CRM lists and then associate campaigns to those combination lists. Can someone confirm that those combinations lists also will never expire, even if the membershipLifeSpan value on those lists are something lower than 10,000? (I tried also to set the field to 10K days explicitly and got an error, complaining the value is too high.)
Thanks!
