Problem when uploading an offline conversion.

Hello, google api team, 

According to the documentation, this should be in the code

request.conversions=[click_conversion]

but, if i use this i'm getting this error:

AttributeError: Assignment not allowed to repeated field "conversions" in protocol message object.

And if i use this instead, 

request.conversions.append(click_conversion)

The conversions are going through, but i have some other issues in that, like my repeat_rate is going up, but there isn't any change in conversions.

Are these related? if yes then how do i solve these issues?

Would you be able to provide the documentation that you are referring to in your post? As
for "AttributeError: Assignment not allowed to repeated field "conversions" in protocol message object.", to take a closer look at this error, could you provide more context to repeat_rate and specify what client library you are using? It would be helpful in our investigation if you can also provide the complete request and response logs with the request-id generated on your end where we can see the error.
