Metrics not returned for RSA assets other than impressions in v12 - ad_group_ad_asset_view

Hi,

We were trying to fetch the metrics from ad_group_ad_asset_view for the RSA assets. We still receive impressions only even though there are cost, conversions et.. metrics listed in API in v12. In the GAds dashboard also we have other metrics included. Let us know how we can fetch all supported metrics for RSA assets

Where in the GAds dashboard do you see other metrics?  Can you please attach a screenshot?  As far as we can see, only impressions are visible.

We've seen other metrics in Dashboard during late Nov but we were not able to see now in dashboard. Anyways in the v12 API there are other metrics mentioned, Google ads don't support them currently?

Thanks for reaching out to the Google Ads API Forum.

I understand that you tried to fetch the metrics from ad_group_ad_asset_view for the RSA assets. Kindly note that the ad_group_ad_asset_view only exposes metrics.impressions for assets that are part of an ad_group_ad of type RESPONSIVE_SEARCH_AD (RSA). If you have included several metrics in their search query, only metrics.impressions will be returned for rows that correspond to an RSA. On the other hand, if you tried to pull APP_AD, then it should give all the metrics. I hope this clarifies.
