Does library automatically send an email invitation to that person?

When I add a new account under my manager account by using the managedCustomerService.mutateLink function, 

does library automatically send an email invitation to that person?

And does the process work the same in the test account?

I'm using the php library.

Hi,

Yes, the invited account should receive an email regarding the request to link and it should also work for test accounts, regardless of the client library used. Let me know if this helps.
