Search query performance report average position returns bad value

Hello,

I am submitting a SEARCH_QUERY_PERFORMANCE_REPORT report type to the latest version V201809.

when I ask for selectable field AveragePosition I get a weird value " --" (notice that there is a space there) instead of a double.

Looking at the documentation here: https://developers.google.com/adwords/api/docs/appendix/reports/search-query-performance-report#averageposition 

I don't see any reason this value should return;

Can anyone help?

Some time ago Google withdrew the "Average Position" static - all requests get a null value. See:

That space in the " --" value shouldn't be there I think.

Regardless, there is no point to request average position.
