Thank you for the reply. We already have this information as mentioned in
the first message. What we wanted to know is if there's an alternate field
which we can use for getting the country code?

I would like to know what is value of maximum bid that we can set in google
ads . Right now , if I try to increase the bids above $1000 , it shows " Value
exceeds the allowed maximum " .

Thanks

I would like to automatically export lead information from a Google Ads
lead form to a Google Spreadsheet.

*Question*I don't know the "column names" needed to output data from ⑤ to ⑨
from the following data.

①Submission Time (JST)
②Gclid
③Campaign Name
④Ad Group Name

*⑤Full Name⑥Company Name⑦Work Email Address⑧Work Phone Number⑨Answer to
"Please let us know what you're interested in." (a question set up

*What I tried*I created a Google Ads script , but I could only find and
output the column names for ①-④ using "Reference Site ." However, I could
not find the column names for ⑤-⑨.

Here is the code I have written in the Google Ads script. Please refer to
the SELECT part!
[File name: code.gs]

function main(){

const ID1 = 'Spreadsheet ID';

// Destination Spreadsheet name

*only the following name* was outputted:

*⑥Company name*

*⑦Work email address*

*⑧Work phone number*

I have a variety of audience segments that are attached to ad groups as ad
group criteria. My question is how do I access the labels associated with
these segments? In the example below I'd like to retrieve the label
('CUSTOM') tied to Segment Bar. I tried querying the ad group criteria
labels but was unsuccessful. I can retrieve the label itself from the Label
resource, but I don't know to which segment any given label is attached.
Thanks.

Hello,

Thanks for reaching out to the Google Ads API Team.

Kindly note that Assets in a Performance max campaign documentation, are grouped together in a collection called an AssetGroup, which is unique to Performance Max campaigns. Each campaign requires at minimum one asset group. Assets are automatically mixed and matched based on which Google Ad channel (YouTube, Gmail, Search, etc.) your ad is being served on.

Hi,

Thank you for coming back to us. I hope you are doing well today.

Moving forward to your concern, please see the “Associate the asset with a resource” documentation. It mentioned that “associate the asset with a resource by creating a CampaignAsset, AdGroupAsset, or CustomerAsset object”.

Please note that “There is a limit of 20 assets which can be linked to a resource—such as customer, ad group, or campaign—per asset field type. For example, at any given time, there can be at most 20 sitelink assets and at most 20 callout assets linked to the same campaign.”.

However, we highly recommend to follow the “Assets in a Performance Max Campaign” documentation and guidelines for better implementation and to avoid future errors.

Hi,

I'm from the Google Ads API team. I'll try my best to assist you.

Can you provide more details on what you're trying to achieve? If possible, kindly provide us with a UI screenshot of a similar ad group that you would like to replicate via API. You may send it to us via Reply privately to author option. I'm asking as I've noticed that the deliveryMethod, period, amountMicros, explicitlyShared fields does not exist in an AdGroup resource as you can see here (https://developers.google.com/google-ads/api/reference/rpc/v13/AdGroup). Furthermore, the STANDARD value you specified for the type field is not part of the available enum values that the field accepts. Here's a link (https://developers.google.com/google-ads/api/reference/rpc/v13/AdGroupTypeEnum.AdGroupType) to the list of supported values.

Hi,

Thank you for your feedback.

Our documentation (https://developers.google.com/google-ads/api/fields/v13/customer) for customer report states that it will show all metrics and segments that can be put in the same SELECT clause as the fields of customer. However, when you specify customer in the FROM clause, some metrics and segments cannot be used.

If you use the filter for this report, then you will verify that metrics.phone_calls cannot be used in customer report if you select the "Yes, it is" option for the question "Is customer specified in the FROM clause of your query?".

If you have any other concerns with Google Ads API, feel free to reach out to us once again with the details so we can further investigate.

Thanks for reaching out to the Google Ads API Team. I hope you are doing well today.

With regards to your concern about sample queries that do not return products that are within a PMax campaign. For our team to further compare, investigate, and validate why you are encountering issues, can you provide more information?

Provide the complete (request and response with request-id) logs with request ID generated as shown in the respective links.
Complete screenshots (without cropping) from the Google Ads UI, the data that you are retrieving.

We do this to check if there’s an error thrown on your side and provide accurate recommendations.

If you haven't enabled logging yet, it can be enabled by navigating to the Client libraries > Your client library (ex. Java) > Logging documentation, which you can access from this link. For REST interface requests, you can enable logging via the curl command by using the -i flag. This will cause the tool to include the HTTP response headers in the output.

Hi,

Thanks for reaching out to Google Ads Forum.

With regards to your concern, can you confirm if you want to retrieve the metro ID using the CSV of geo targets? If so, please note that under the CSV of geo target the following fields are listed in the geo target columns documentation.

Moreover, can you confirm if you want to use the segments.geo_target_metro using the geo_target_constant? If so, please note that the segments.geo_target_metro is not available on this report type. However, there are multiple report types with segments.geo_target_metro fields.

Please note that Google Ads API mirrors the Google Ads UI. Meaning by using the Google Ads API, you can get and manage the data that you are seeing in the UI.

With that being said, can you provide us with the full (not cropped) and non-redacted screenshot of the Google Ads UI data that you want to retrieve in Google Ads API? This is for us to be able to perform and to replicate the data on our side.

You may then send the requested information via the Reply privately to the author option. If this option is not available, you may send the details directly to our googleadsa...@google.com alias instead.

To provide more context, we are currently utilizing the Google Ads API and
leveraging the google_ads_service.search_stream function to retrieve a
dataset that includes the segments.geoTargetMetro field. It's worth noting
that this particular column only provides the ID of the metro and not its
corresponding name.

We attempted to cross-reference this ID with the CSV file of geo targets;
however, we were unable to locate the corresponding metro names in this
file. As a result, we are now facing the question of where we can find a
mapping between the metro IDs and their respective names.

One possible solution we are considering is querying the
GeoTargetConstantService, which is the new service for obtaining
locationCriterion data. This approach may provide us with the necessary
information to map the metro IDs to their corresponding names.

Hi Vlad,

Thank you for getting back to us. I hope that you are doing well today.

Moving forward to your concern, i understand what you wanted to happen. You can fetch the campaign report for every account using Parallel Report Download (https://developers.google.com/google-ads/api/samples/parallel-report-download). This Parallel download report is available for client libraries. However, since you are using Rest API, I am afraid that this parallel download is not available using REST.

Furthermore, for us to further investigate, could you please provide us the complete request and response logs with request ID and request header generated on your end? You can provide it via Reply privately to the author option. If this option is not available, then send it instead on this email address googleadsa...@google.com. Hi,

Thank you for reaching out to us.

Upon checking, I can see that you have raised a similar concern but different customer id with the subject of "I would like to inquire about why there is a negative balance in my advertising account" For this, could you confirm if it is okay to continue with one email thread you sent for better tracking of updates? If yes, then kindly allow me to reiterate the response of the other thread you sent below and you may continue there the discussion if you have further questions:

"Hello,

Thank you for reaching out to Google Ads API Forum.

Please note that our team can only provide support to Google Ads API related concerns and technical implementations.

Regarding the negative balance in your advertising account. Please note that since the API mirrors the UI, if this is visible in Google Ads UI then it will return the same in the API. In line with this, upon checking the account you provided, it appears that it has been suspended. With this, we would recommend reaching out to the Google Ads Product Support Team as they are the appropriate team for concerns with regards to suspended accounts.

Furthermore, in relation to the second email where screenshot was provided, could you please provide more details or full context regarding issues that have been encountered from our Google Ads API or elaborate more on how we can help? I ask this so our team can further investigate or provide accurate recommendations on this.

In addition, you may also provide the following information:

Complete (request and response with request-id) logs with request ID generated as shown in the respective links.
Complete or un-cropped screenshots from the Google Ads UI (optional)

We do this to check if there’s an error thrown on your side and provide right recommendations.

Additionally, the data accumulation is more on Product related. That being said, if you want further insights why you are having negative number issue when calling the interface to pull the account budget, then I would suggest you reach out instead to the Product team via this link, as they are the appropriate team to provide guidance on this matter.

Hi Scott,

Thank you for the reply.

Please note that our team can only provide support and assistance for Google Ads API-related concerns and technical implementations. The data accumulation is more product-related. That being said, if you want further insights about how the ad group criteria label field is populated, what data is contained in the label field, and where the data is pulled from, then I would suggest you reach out instead to the Product team via this link, as they are the appropriate team to provide guidance on this matter.

On the other hand, you may check this documentation for more information on labels from the Google Ads API perspective.

Best regards,
