This customer does not have an import conversion action that matches the conversion action provided

Hello,

we have a client with the following setup:

1. Manager account XXXXXXX081
2. Account XXXXXXX056, managed by XXXXXXX081
3. A click with the GCLID Cjw____BwE from 2022-09-29, in the account XXXXXXX056, which is visible in click_view and is associated with XXXXXXX056 according to click_view 
4. A conversion action YYYYYY0529 which is defined in the manager account XXXXXXX081 and is visible as ENABLED and as having the manager account XXXXXXX081 as owner in conversion_action (for both, the manager account XXXXXXX081  and the actual managed account XXXXXXX056)

(Maybe an important piece of information:  the managed account XXXXXXX056
was configured in the UI as having its conversion actions managed by the manager account XXXXXXX081 AFTER the GCLID in question Cjw____BwE  already happened)

When trying to upload a conversion for that GCLID Cjw____BwE we get "This customer does not have an import conversion action that matches the conversion action provided" even if from
our point of view a matching conversion action is definitively there.

I can provide request/response SOAP logs in a private reply if necessary.

To have a clearer view and to provide accurate recommendations, it would be helpful if you can provide the complete API request and response logs with request ID and request header that generated on your end where we can see the error message"This customer does not have an import conversion action that matches the conversion action provided" that you mentionedIf you haven't yet, logging can be enabled by navigating to the Client libraries > Your client library (ex. Java) > Logging documentation, which you can access from this link.

You can provide it via the Reply privately to author option. If this option is not available, then send it instead on this email address googleadsa...@google.com.

Thank you for the reply.

Upon checking on my end, It seems that the conversion 463450529 exists. However, since you are uploading this using a MCC account, could you please confirm if you already enabled your conversion tracking? I asked because upon trying the query you will see on this documentation I can see that this customer.conversion_tracking_setting.cross_account_conversion_tracking_id field is not returning. However, if you confirm that you still did not enable this, I would suggest you refer to this documentation also for more information in Cross-account conversion tracking.

In addition, I would also suggest you to take a look at this documentation as it has the several requirements that must be met when uploading a ClickConversion.
