Our software that uses the Adwords API,
can we use the test account to test  or do we have to use a real account with a credit card connected?

thanks!
Roberto.

Hi Roberto,

Test accounts can be used to test the API, however, you will need to sign up for the API using a production manager account. Also note that test accounts don't have real data so you will need to keep that in mind when testing. Here is our guide on test accounts that will provide details on how it works and how to use it.

I've not understanded clearly.
We want to test MAXIMIZE_CONVERSIONS with campaign/etc. generated by the API. and putting  GlobalSiteTag, GoogleEventSnippet in out website.
I've read that test accounts don't serve impressions, so i must use a real production account with real money to test all?

Thanks!

Hi Roberto,

Yes, you are correct. If you want to test certain features, you will need to use a production account. To do so, you can run API calls with validateOnly set to true to test using production accounts.
