We have an upcoming (11/18) Upper Midwest CRAFT event in Naperville, IL where two young Illinois farmers will share their experiences managing vegetable production from the perspective of a non-profit farm and also a USDA certified organic operation. Recordkeeping, finances, and production/personnel management will be in focus.

Jesse Schaffer (the Talking Farm) and Jason Halm (the Conservation Foundation's Green Earth Harvest) will share record keeping, business performance analysis and seasonal adjustment practices. Plus, hear how harvest, inventory, and farmstand sales, as well as the required recordkeeping for organic certification is approached.
