to ADVERTISEMENT POLLUTION
1. No advertisement should be allowed to be played more than 25-30
times in a period of a
week.
2. The break time should not be more than 5% of the programme content.
That is if the
programme is for 1 hour and break should not occupy more than 5% of
one hour.
3. Every product should display on the label of pack the amount of
advertisement cost
that is included in the price.
4. When any programmeis breaking for ads, on the right top corner, a
timer should be ticking
indicating in how many seconds/minutes,the main programme comes.
5. No two channels should play advertisements at a time. All channels
should come
together through their associations and synchornise their
programmes and ads to
ensure that no two channels shall be playing ads.at the same time.
This is to ensure that
if we want to skip ads, we can go to another channel and watch
programme content there. At
present, all channels have colluded and are playing ads. almost at
the same time robbing us
the chance of watching the programme content and compelling us to
see their nauseating
ads over and and over poisoning and polluting our minds.
6. The sould of advertisements should be 75% of the sound of the main
programme.
7. On the roads, all hoardings should be regulated and should be
heavily taxed by the
state government to discourage the hoarding system.
8. Dividers should never be used for advertisements.
9. Government properties like Trains and buses should not be let out
for advertisements
10.There should be curb on the number of episodes any serial can run.
11.There should not be any unnecessary advertisement by any
manufacturer or service
provider which makes the customer to pay more.
12.Advertisement cost should not be more than 0.01% of price of any
product.

These are a few items that come to my mind to curb the menace and
pollution of advertisements.
