After reading your SA&T article on Shakhbazian groups/clusters, I was reminded of Shakhbazian 76. Oriented properly, it looks a lot like the current logo of my former employer. Not that I would have ever noticed, but Jimi Lowrey emailed to say that he saw the italic A drifting into the field at his eyepiece…

Galaxy Zoo came up with a whole font using galaxies, but writing with galaxy groups would be a whole new thing.

Hi Bill,

I’m glad to hear you read the article.  Actually, honored you read the article!  I might have included Shakhbazian 76, since its does form a rather distinctive “A”, though based on the SDSS classifications, several of the objects appear to be stars.
