Hello all,
Last year, I purchased the flashdrive containing all 128 issues of Amateur Astronomy magazine. I thought it was a good deal and have now gone through and created a document where I list out the articles that Dave wrote from 2017 until present. He wrote over a dozen more going back to 2009, but I got tired creating what I did since he wrote close to 50 articles for them! So, the rest can be found in the attached Index of all Amateur Astronomy articles up to 2017.
Since I have plans to visit Jimi Lowrey this month, I enjoyed going to Dave's observations, looking for "monster 'scope" challenges that would be befitting Jimi's monster. One of his articles inspired me to go the extra mile in researching the brightest supernova remnants in M31 and now I've got two confirmed SNRs that I truly expect to see in Jimi's telescope.
If one of Dave's article titles and accompanying subject matter catches your eye, let me know and I can PM it to you. Be warned though, he typically observed objects that you'll need a telescope with an aperture over 20-inches to see.
