Seeing if anyone has observations of Hickson 29 to share. With my 28-inch, I was only able to definitively see one galaxy and that is HCG 29a. I may have gotten weak glimpses of one other galaxy, most possible HCG 29c. Wanted to know if people have had better luck, perhaps from a more southern latitude.

Regards
Akarsh

Hi Akarsh,

Here's an observation using Jimi's 48-inch on a so-so night using 488x:

And with my old 20-inch:

Hi Akarsh,

I can contribute hundreds of Hickson entries and sketches of ALL groups at my side http://www.deepsky-visuell.de/Projekte/HCG_Start.htm

HCG 29 remains a difficult group. I could glimpse some more individual group members from extremely good observing conditions with 20" and 24".

Regards, uwe
