Hi Everyone,
Rachel had her appointment today. The doctor did an endometrial biopsy, which was quite painful, and the results will be in next week. His preliminary diagnosis is endmetritis (spelling?). That means the interior lining of the uterus is inflamed and/or infected, however, she has never run a fever throughout all of this, but he has started her on two different antibiotics for the next 17 days and has stopped the hormones she has been taking.
You can imagine Rachel's relief at finally having someone doing something to figure out what is going on...mine as well.
Please continue to pray and thank you all so much for the prayers already.
Also, my employer (I live with and work for an elderly, disabled couple), Nancy, fell Monday evening and is in quite a lot of pain. She did not want to go to the hospital, but her pain is increasing instead of decreasing, so I will be calling her orthopedist tomorrow morning (Thursday).
And yet another thing: I am leaving for Michigan on December 23 for one week and we need a person to stay here with Richard and Nancy. So, if you know someone who has been unemployed or who could use a little bit extra over the holidays, please give them my contact info and have them call me...or give me theirs and I will call them. I have worked 7 months without a day off and, as much as I love Richard and Nancy, I really need a little time off...a brand new grandbaby is waiting to meet his Nana:-)
My phone number is
407-267-0952.
Thank you all so much for your prayers and encouragement...it has meant a lot to us!
Peace and blessings,
Ginger Scally
