Hi Everyone,
I just received word that my daughter is in the emergency room. She has been having difficulty breathing and she has fluid in her lungs. They initially were concerned that she had a clot in her lungs, too, but she just texted me that there is no clot, but her heart rate is way too low. I appreciate your prayers and will update you as soon as I know anything else.

Hi Everyone,
Rachel was released from the hospital a little while ago. All they said was that she is retaining a lot of fluid that is causing her to have difficulty breathing. They gave her a diuretic to try to eliminate the fluid buildup, but did not give any indication as to WHY (my favorite word) this is happening. There is always a reason. She is very uncomfortable, as you can imagine. Please continue to pray.
Thank you all so much for the words of encouragement. It is difficult being so far away from her. Not that I could do anything for her, but just being with her would be a comfort.

The last news I received was yesterday. She said that she is breathing easier, but is still swollen, although it is going down gradually. So, that's improvement...praise the Lord!!! Please keep praying:-)
