Minecraft Win 10 App - How to enter launch options

Hello,
after having purchased Minecraft for Windows 10 (in store as app) I seem not to be able to configure launch options as described in "Adventures in Minecraft" page 25.
Do I need the "full version" for this?

Yes, you will need the full (java) version, or Minecraft Pi edition for the Raspberry Pi.
