Issues setting up adventuresinminecraft server on PC

Hello.

I recently got Adventures in Minecraft book for my son and tried setting up the '1.12' version as the book mentions.   We are getting some issues upon running the server that I hope can be resolved.  (Some additional information - He has Minecraft Java on his PC, Launcher version 2.2.2161).

This is the error/warning we get when we run the StartServer.bat file:

" Minecraft Server Version is 1.12"

"  Note - make sure Minecraft is using version 1.12"

He has these in a launcher but I don't think any of them are relevant to Adventures in Minecraft:

You can create a new launcher for Minecraft v1.12 by clinking on the installations tab and selecting New.
