Hi,

I have created new starter kits for Adventures in Minecraft based on 1.11.2.

There are a couple of things to note about this starter kit:
  • The mcpi & minecraftstuff libraries are now Python 3 compatible. You should be able to use Python 3 for Adventures in Minecraft (although I havent tested them all, so let me know if you have any issues.
  • There latest version of RaspberryJuice (1.9) now includes a config option to make positions absolute so the positions when you press F3 will make what the API returns, see the README for more info.

This is awesome, Martin! Thanks.

Can't wait to demo it!

Wish we had something similar on the Pi.....

I wonder if it wouldn't be possible to modify the server to make sure that the spawn point is 0,0,0, and then one would have the best of both worlds?

Martin,

I received the second edition today for Christmas. The companion website on Wiley doesn't seem to be working. The first edition is available, but not the second edition. Even the link on your starter kits page doesn't work. Is there another place to download them from? Thank you.

Hi Zandermcg,

I just checked and I was able to download the starter kit from https://adventuresinminecraft.github.io/

(see attached image).

I will also put them onto google drive and share them.

Hi,

If you are still having problems, I have also put the starter kits on google drive.

Hopefully you will be able to download them from here if you are having problems connecting to the site.
