Well, I blew up my world pretty good. Messing around with TNT, and I know I should have known better! Made a block of TNT that was clearly too large, then set it off. This is on the Raspberry Pi.

When I try to reload Minecraft, even though I choose New Game, it is obviously loading the previous world, which freezes Minecraft, my cursor, and the whole Pi.... As I say to my students, this is why we can't have nice things.

So how can I reset this world on the Pi? I'm not using the Bukkit server, so there isn't a server.properties file to modify. Help!

You can delete the games folders.

Go to the folder /home/pi/.minecraft/games/com.mojang/minecraftWorlds

And delete the offending world (or all of the world's).

The .minecraft folder is a hidden folder so you may have to change the view.
