thanks for the great book. I am helping one of my students learning python. He loves Minecraft and thought this would be a great opportunity.
So I would like to know which version of Minecraft is required? Does it also work with the Minecraft Java version?

The book is written for either Minecraft Java or Minecraft Pi editions.
There are starter kits available to download which use Minecraft 1.12. Although you could build your own of you wanted a newer version.
