Hello fellow ‘Adventure Crafters’; As proud owners I know that you are all very familiar with the fun and capabilities of the Adventure Craft (AC); so, as such - I am asking for your assistance. Due to our flailing economy, job loses, and pay cuts I am having little but no success in finding a ‘Qualified‘ buyer for our AC. There are lots of AC interest buyers out here and although I’ve shown it a number of times – the available buyer funding in just not available … All the interested buyers are really excited and knowledgeable about the AC and appreciate the great condition ours is in and really like the boat/trailer; but the availability of cash and/or ability to acquire a boat loan is not there. I’ve been asked to finance it myself more than once; and that’s just not feasible for a couple of 70+-year-old owners?? What I’m asking for is -- that if any of you know any relatives, neighbors, and/or friends that may be interested in Ac’s, please forward the AC description and pictures in this e-mail accordingly. Both Cindy & I would really appreciate any help with this request and many thanks in advance… Thanks again and Happy Cruising --- Ed & Cindy Doyle (Proud AC owners)…………..AS Follows:
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Hello to all cruisers and house boaters: Sorry to say we have to put our 5th child, Our 2005 Adventure Craft with blue fabrics, up for sale. We are the original owners and the boat is in perfect condition. All we have had to do is factory service the Honda 135, and replace the fresh water and one bilge pump. All of the factory provided appliances and AC work fine and we have added a Cuisinart Grill , two single electric burners, overhead wine rack and stowage racks in the forward right/left cabin, Cabin Garmin GPS/Fish Finder Mapper, front & Rear bottom deck portable sun shades, removable rotor remote controlled digital TV antenna, and a sitting /table bench that covers the bridge AC. Pictures of the sun covers, shelves and bridge deck table were sent to the Yahoo Adventure Craft Groups "photo" section already 4-5 years ago at
Adcraf...@yahoogroups.com. The price includes the 4 wheeled custom made trailer that came with the AC. It has been used only once.
The Adventure Craft provides all- around classy comfort, and gives you all the same big boat amenities without the high operating costs. It’s the thrifty way to enjoy boating. It cruises at 10 Knots at 3200 RPM but can go 20k if you need it. It uses 3-6 miles per gallon depending on your cruising speed.
At 8’ 6” wide and approximately 6000 pounds - dry, the AC 2800 is truly a Trail able Cabin Yacht™. Drafting approximately 12” of water, the AC lets you cruise the shallow backwaters and explore rivers, sand bars, lakes, and bays like no other trailerable boat in its class.
The AC is long with a generous cabin and deck space yet short enough to access public boat ramps. Your HONDA Four-stroke motor & auxiliary generators are both super “quiet” and efficient.” As nearly silent and smokeless” they allow you to view and enjoy nature in its tranquility. You are also treated to a pleasant and airy houseboat atmosphere with eight large, screened windows. The 6-foot glassed-in cabin provides non-stop 360 degree views of the water and comfortable movement from bow to stern. For unparalleled sightseeing or sun bathing, take to the fly bridge., for from this helm you can see the bow and all the approaching and panoramic waters for any surface or below-the-surface potential hazards. 'Liv’n, Cruis’n & Beach’n’ Adventure Craft brings an entirely new meaning to “living on land and on the water". It’s part camper RV, houseboat and part recreational boat for both fishing and puling tubes, boards or skiers, - all in one package. Now you can take the same comforts of home with you to any body of water! With numerous standard amenities, Adventure Craft won’t disappoint. Best of all, you can dock virtually anywhere! The patented hull design drafts on ly 12” and allows you to glide into sandy beaches.
Our AC and experiences are currently used as one of the testimonials on the AC Factory Web Site. We really love this boat, but due to our aging 70+year old bodies, specialized dieting/cooking requirements, and having to sleep with masks -- we have to let it go. It's a ready to go for $44,500 and a real 1/2 price deal, when you consider that the new ACs sell for around $80,000 - without the included extras. We are located Gulfside in the FL Panhandle midway between Panama City and Pensacola on the inter-coastal waterway in Niceville, FL. Our address is 242 Yacht Club Drive, Zip 32578-3736 with a home Tele of (850) 678-7348, Cell (850) 543-2026. Please contact us for any concerns or questions, there are no brokers or sales personnel involved at this $44,500 price.. Many thanks for the LOOK !!! ----Ed & Cindy Doyle…
