NASA Greetings...!! After a long wait, we have published the details
of one of the Climbing Expedition that we have planned for this year.

One of the non-technical peaks in Himachal Pradesh at 17,000 ft plus,
Mt. Shitidhar (White Peak) is a perfect introductory peak for
mountaineering, is an ideal climb for trekkers without prior climbing
experience and wanting to summit a Himalayan peak. Its south face
offers a straightforward but challenging route to the summit. Mt.
Shitidhar’s accessibility makes it doubly attractive. The base camp,
by the emerald Beas Kund, the source of the Beas, is just a day’s trek
away from Manali. The climb offers spectacular close-up views of
Hanuman Tibba on the west, and at a distance, Indrasan, Deotibba and
the lesser mountains of the Pir Panjal to the east.
