NASA wishes you a very Happy New Year!!

Hope this note finds you in great health and rejuvenated spirits...

We like to thank you all for making the year 2009 a huge success,
adventurous and an eventful one..! The year witnessed a whole spectrum
of adventure activities viz., Treks, Outbound Training Programmes,
Parasailing, River Rafting, Rock Climbing, Rappelling and some Social
Responsibility initiatives.

We feel proud to share some of the defining moments/ activities
organized by NASA during the year 2009-10:

• The High Altitude Trek to the 'valley' of Himalayan ranges was
particularly memorable for NASA as we successfully organized an 8 day
sojourn.
• Exploratory Treks organized in the Western Ghats, Valleys and
Backwaters.
• Parasailing.
• Water Sports Orientation.
• Rock Climbing activity @ Savanadurga for a few schools.
• River Rafting at Barpole and Bheemeshwari.
• Outbound activities for corporate in the likes of Pharmarc, HSBC,
NOKIA, Symbiosis, Intel (Just to name a few).
• Nature awareness camps for tree planting via “I Own a TREE”.
• Social responsibility activities by helping kids of forest guards/
watchers in their needs on education and clothing, etc.,

Shortly, we are coming out with an adventure calendar for the academic
year 2010-2011. Some of the major events planned for this year are as
follows:

• Himalayan Trek / Motor Driving
• Snorkeling / Scuba Diving
• Programme @ Andaman Islands
• Skiing

Before we publish it, do let us know if you have any specific
adventure activity which you want NASA to come out with and NASA would
work out on the possibilities to arrange it for you.
