Hello Friends,

I wish to camp out at SavanDurga this weekend for old-times sake.
Anyone else interested? Let me know and we can plan together.

I will be doing a night-trek with my son(9 yr) and 2 other friends and
camping overnight on the top. Will return on Sunday morning after watching
the sun-rise.
So, this can be done with your family. And 16th is full-moon, so it will
still be nice to climb on 18th night with the moon guiding us.

This is the itinerary I had in mind:
Day 1 i.e. 18th January 2014
• 4:00PM – Start the journey from NICE road-Bannerghatta Rd junction
• 6:30PM – Sun set in Magadi village
• 8:30PM – Dinner at the foothills of SavanDurga
• 10:00PM – Start the climb
• 12:00midnight – Reach Mantap and rest for the night

Day 2 i.e. 19th January, 2014
• 6:00AM – Quick Freshen up and Climb to the peak to visit basavanna
• 6.30AM – Catch the sun-rise from the peak
• 8:00AM – Start the climb down
• 9:30AM – Start the return journey to Bangalore
