A while since we have come together for a trek. How about a trek + water sports in the backwaters of Sharavathi, 11-12 October?
Honnemaradu (a place of golden sand) is a tourist place situated on the back waters of Sharavathi river, popular among water sports enthusiasts as a site for kayaking, windsurfing and other similar sports
The event is a combination of a moderate trek on the first day, overnight camping at Honemaradu and water sports on the second day
Friday, 10th October
Overnight travel to Honemaradu, we will most probably use our own vehicle to travel
Saturday, 11th October
Reach base at Honnemaradu freshen up and breakfast
Pack some food and start for the trek, lunch on the way
Camp fire (weather permitting) in the Sharavathi backwaters
Sunday, 12th October
Early wake up, breakfast and a splash in the backwaters
Start return journey to Bangalore, reach Bangalore late night on Sunday
Registration Deadline : 9th Oct
Group Size : ~12, based on first come, first serve basis
Transportation : Public transport or hired vehicle.
Trip Cost : INR 3600 per head.
