Are there any Bible teachers who are primarily teaching students with
a non-western, non-Christian background (I realize there are probably
none in NAD, but perhaps there are some on this list in other
places)? What have you done for curriculum? Are you developing your
own? What ethnicities/religions are you dealing with? How do you
approach doctrinal issues? I am very interested in dialoguing with
those who are in this position, privately. Please contact me at
mom2twoboys at gmail dot com. (For reference, I've got Sikh,
Buddhist, Muslim, traditional religion, Roman Catholic, Jehovah's
Witness, atheist, a few Christians and one SDA, in a school of 41
students)

thanks.

I'm a retired teacher who's only had students in the USA, but I believe kids of all religious backgrounds will benefit from the Bible stories by Arthur Maxwell.  I'd teach SDA doctrines as found in the Holy Bible, God's Word.   God bless-

In Montana I taught in a Non-denominational school for a year, and had students in many different beliefs there. The policy was to teach from the Bible only. When there was a question about doctrine, the student was first referred to their Pastor, Priest, etc., after which if the question remained unanswered to the student's satisfaction, I invited the parent(s) to come in with the student and we talked of the Bible doctrine and how it came to be in God's plan. I spent many delightful hours sharing in this way and carry wonderful memories of families, etc coming to a better understanding of Biblical teaching. God bless you in your endeavors.

May we always point people to God's Word for truth!  After that, be sure we're asking God to help us live it - walk the talk!  We may be the only Bible some people ever read - esp. young people!
