I wanted to find out from educators if you think Adventist Education is worth fighting for?  What I mean is, do you believe that the amount of time that you are spending teaching worth the results you receive?  Please share with me your comments, stories, and testimonies about why it is worth it?  Thank you   kenndixon.org

When I read your question I have first response is who are you fighting with?  If you are an Adventist educator you know that results are not always immediate and expectations should not be expected to be immediate. Do you do a good job of teaching is up to the individual, but it should be as good or better than what a parent would expect in the public education arena.  Your ultimate goal is not only for your student to be successful in academic achievement in this world, but to also help them in establishing a relationship with Christ which is priceless and worth every second you put into planning, implementing, and evaluating your lessons on a daily bases. So back to your question my interpretation is you are battling within yourself and if that is the case you may need to look for another venue to teach.

Comment: The reason Adventist Ed is worth ALL that goes into it, is simply our responsibility of being an Adventist. We have a before us a life of commitment to to spreading the good news. Whatever venue you choose is simply the venue to carry out that responsibility. Our chosen one is teaching, and therefore it is where we spend all that we have, our lives, in that service, for one purpose; one goal, one hope, and our one payment/compensation is souls won for Christ. The beauty is, all the hard work, time, effort spent is matched by His Holy Spirit. We never work alone. In the process, we learn wisdom, are given understanding, and discernment of Spiritual things. Time in His word is half the daily study. Could any work equal our enjoyment!

Stories: Oh, that I had the time. This year the harvest has been wonderful! All but my new students will be baptized in November! Really last year's work, but now is the time to reap. Oh, I am so blessed and humbled to be in my work!
