Interested in holding a video chat on this Advent Study?
The easiest way to get a bunch of people all on video chat is using
the Google+ service (Google's answer to Facebook). It will allow
multiple people to video chat at the same time -- all for free.
To get started:
1. You will need a computer and a web cam. Most new laptops will
already have one included. Otherwise you can pick up a webcam at Best
Buy or Frys. Or just enjoy the Google Group aspect without the video.
2. Join Google+. You can go to,
http://plus.google.com and setup an
account. Then search for "TreyAndKrys" as a friend. Then put us in
one of the "circles."
Or, you can follow this link to become friends with TreyAndKrys on
Google+
https://plus.google.com/i/mOLDSAc42B8:YlkKPE5Z9dY
3. Once there, click "Start Hangout" (on the right) or find an
existing "hangout." It will ask you to download the app. After
downloading and installing, it should be all ready to go. When we
start a video hangout, you'll get an invitation that you would click
on.
If there is a enough interest, we can hold a time where we can all
sign in.
*Rely to this message* if this is an interest.....
Thanks,
Trey.
