Hello Brother's and Sisters in Christ,

Welcome to our online Advent study. This is a new idea and we have
never done a Bible study online before so please bare with us as we
get things set up. We know how hard it is to make it to church for a
weekly Bible study and after much discussion and prayer we decided to
give this a try and open it up to our faith community.

We will be basing our discussions off of the book "Christmas Is Not
Your Birthday" by Mike Sluaghter. It is available on Kindle at
amazon.com or you can order the book from your favorite book retailer.
If you decide not to buy the book you may still find the discussion
and resources meaningful. We will try to make the discussions as
accessable as possible to everyone.

We ask that in the spirit of discovery and the Advent journey to know
Christ better that everyone who participates in discussion do so with
love, compassion, and understanding for eachother. Please be mindful
of how you respond to eachother. This should be an environment were
everyone feels safe to share what is in their hearts.

A note on house keeping for the page: We will post discussion topics
as a means of leading the Bible study. We invite you to openly respond
to these discussion topics by adding your own message responses to the
topics. If there is a discussion topic you would like posted please
email us seperately so that we can limit confusion on the leader
board.

We are excited to share this opportunity with all of you and look
forward to the discussions to come. May the peace of Christ fill your
hearts this holiday seasons and may this experience bring you and your
family closer to Christ.

Peace, Love, and Blessings,
Trey and Krystina Kyle

Just FYI: I have heard the paper version of the book can be hard to
get through amazon.com but is easier to get through Barnes and
Noble...If you are getting the book through ebook there are no
problems and amazon works just fine.
