Hey, Communicators – yes, you...

... Jill Valentino  ... Amara Goldberg  .... Gabriel Disch.... Will Schneider.... Jonny Schneider .... Brad Rothenberg...
.... Cam Braun... Troy Scribner .... Nate Bowler .... Luca Fleming-Garcia .... Jason Henry ... Tristan Duval ...
      .... Ethan Dietz... Connor McCarthy

I'll be back at Scouts this coming Monday Jan 22nd at 6:30pm, so let's get serious about this badge because there's a lot to do!
Some quick reminders:

Bring Communications badge book, paper, and pen  (so you can, duh, communicate via old-fashioned paper...  )  Then I need each of you to:
  • Be ready to do Requirement #1d this Monday – a list of at least 15 different ways of communicating (not just talking, looking, listening, etc. Think about animals communicating, all kinds of signs, how designers design things, old-fashioned ways your grandparents and great-grandparents could have communicated, etc., etc.)
  • Review Requirement #9 (careers in communications) and tell me what career you will describe, in writing, by our Jan 29 meeting.
  • Tell me which next requirement you've decided to do by the beginning of February
  • Tell me which next three requirements after that you can get done by the beginning of March

So now you know what you'll be doing when it's too cold to go do stuff outside this weekend!!

A couple of specific requirements for Jonny and Will, since you guys had started the Communications badge previously:

  • Jonny: you'd said you would decide who you are going to interview (Requirement #4) and (I think) you were going to share some of your interview questions, yes?  Also,  I think you were going to decide on a meeting to cover (Requirement #5.  Remember, it doesn't have to be an in-person meeting and it doesn't have to be in Stow. Use your imagination!)

  • Will: you were going to decide on a skill to teach (Requirement #6).  And I remember you talking about doing a presentation on cooking -- making chicken parm, I think. Do you still want to do that? Or something else? Be ready to tell me on Monday.
