I just uploaded my slides (Click me) for the first session of algorithmic information theory reading group (http://grla.wikidot.com/ait), I will be talking about some notations used throughout this book(Li&Vitanyi (2008) book (ANU library QA267.7.L5 2008, Hutter office, Amazon, free delivery)), binary strings, probability theory (with a bit measure theory) and a little bit information theory.

Next week, we will be looking at the rest parts of chapter 1.
