What do you think of when you hear the word "freedom"? What freedoms are most valuable to you? What would you be willing to risk to preserve your freedom?

What freedom means to me is basically everything because with out it, I would not be able to do whatever I want like other people around the world. What I would be willing to risk to preserve my freedom would my life.

When I hear the word freedom, I usually think about about having a free life and being able to do what what I want. The freedoms that are most valuable to me are being able to live without having somebody on my back constantly, being able to live in a house with a family without people controlling how I do it, and being able to go anywhere without someone watching me. I would be willing to risk my life to preserve my freedom because if I am not free, I don't think it's worth living for.

When I hear the word freedom, I think about freedom of speech, and what had to be done to earn our country's freedom, also having a free life, not worrying about getting in trouble.
I will be willing to risk to preserve my freedom is putting my self in to war or battle over our country's freedom.

When I hear the word freedom I think of things I can do that other people cant do. One of the freedoms that is important to me is able to go to school. Many people in the world cant go to school because of their government or they have no money. I would risk my life to preserve the freedom of my family, or I would give out any material items that someone wants to preserve freedom for my family.

When I hear the word "freedom", I think of being free. Having certain rights to do certain things. I think of having rights and doing what I want. The freedom's that are most valuable to me are being able to have a free education and having the right to wear the clothes I want and listen to the music I want to listen to. To preserve my freedom, depending on how bad it was, I would most likely risk my life.

When I hear freedom, I immediately think of the United States. This country allows people to live with free speech, and being to make your own decisions. Somethings are forced however(such as learning in an academic environment), so we are not totally free, but all things are provided to help us pursue happiness. I would easily risk my live to stay free, or to ensure the freedom of others.

What I think when I hear the word freedom is people gaining respect or people becoming free from enemies that have them reserved or held against their will. The freedoms that are most valuable to me is the freedom to be free from racism with the help of people that were in the Civil Rights Movement. What I would risk to persevere in my freedom depends on what the freedom. If it is the freedom to hang out with my friends I would give up my free time to study and do schoolwork so I can gain the freedom to hang out with my friends. If it was something big like gain the freedom to vote or something in the lines of that I would risk my life for something that important.

When I hear the word freedom I think of having natural rights and being able to speak freely. Freedom to me is having the right to get married, the right to work or apply for a job, and the right to speak freely. There are many other rights, such as the right to live, the right of liberty (which is freedom), and the right of property. I value my freedom because I know not everyone has what I do. I especially value having the right to speak my mind, because that is what I do best. I believe as I get older, more into my adult life, I will value more of my freedom and rights. Such as the right to marry whoever you want (in certain states) or the right to marry someone of the opposite gender (all states). The right to work/have a job will also be a right I value more as  an adult. I am not sure what I would risk to preserve my freedom because I would be risking my rights. Such as risking my life, risking my home or job, risking my freedom (which is illogical but it is still a right). Freedom is valuable to me because without it things wouldn't be as good as they are now.

When I hear the word freedom I think of slaves and how eventually they were set free. My most valuable freedoms would have to be my personal life and my speech. If I cant say what I have to say I think that's wrong because everyone deserves to be heard. Whether its public or personal speeches everyone still deserves that right. People may disagree but that's okay. I feel like I should have freedom in my personal life. I should be able to have privacy and do most of the things I want to do. I would risk being grounded for things like this because theses two things are important to me and if I cant stand up for myself who will?

When I hear the word "freedom" I think of being able to do what you want when you want to do it without someone screaming at you that it's wrong or that you can't do it. I don't believe that freedom is everything. For me freedom can simply be to hang out with my friends at the mall or at a movie without a guardian watching our every move. I don't consider freedom to be being able to stay out alone all hours of the night and not listening to your parents of the law. To some that may be freedom but to me, that's just being wild. I wouldn't risk much to be honest to have complete freedom because I have the freedom I want already. If I ever did want more freedom, I would risk having a social life in order to get all good grades that way my parents could trust me and believe that I'm still a good kid in school I want more freedom. I might, just might, even risk not having a cellular device in order to stay responsible so then I could get more in return. I think freedom means something different to everyone.

When I hear freedom, I think of America. Freedom to me is you are able to do something you want, you aren't trapped anymore, you can do what you want when you want. Granted you may get in trouble, but you can. For example, freedom of speech allows you to say what you want when you want. But if you go around saying I hate you, your ugly, your probably going to get in trouble. For me to persevere my freedom, I would be willing to risk a lot. I would be willing to risk my life, my belongings, but never my family or anyone's life besides mine. Some freedoms that are most valuable to me are being able to go over to a friends house, being able to believe in my own religion, being able to look and dress the way I want, and most of all freedom of speech. I believe that you can say what you want when you want, and if you can't what is life worth? Those are freedoms I value and would be willing to do a lot to protect.

To me freedom means to be free of authority and enforcement, so when I hear the word freedom I think of being able to do certain things and being able to do many things instead of being forced by higher authority to do one thing. Many of my freedoms are valuable to me but I think i most value the freedom of having choice in what I do, the fact that I can choose whether I want to do something or not. I would be willing to risk anything to keep my freedom because life isn't fun when you have no freedom.

When I hear the word "freedom" I think of not being controlled and able to do for the most part, what you want to do. The freedoms I find most valuable is probably freedom of speech because you can say how you feel and not told you can't say that. I personally would be willing to risk many things, probably not my life but a lot of other things to preserve my freedom because freedom lets you express your self without anyone holding you back, it also can make you feel happier because you can do,say, and feel what you want.

The freedom that is most valuable to me is the freedom to become the person that I want to be. In my eyes, freedom means that you can do whatever you want without any restriction. However, I don't think everyone gets this kind of freedom, because of rules and laws put in place that restrict us from certain freedoms. I think freedom of speech is one of the most valuable freedoms because everyone preserves the right to say whatever is on their mind. I'd be willing to risk my life for freedom, because if I'm not free in this life, maybe I could be free in another one.

When I hear the word freedom I think about how nobody is truly ever free. Every single person must follow some sort of rule or law even when people are trying to go somewhere new. For example, when I'm at home I have rules that I have to follow, when I go over to my friends house they may have different rules than me but they still have rules and while I'm there I have to follow those rules. A freedom that I value most is being able to believe what I want to believe and not having somebody force me to try and change that belief. I honestly don't know what I'd risk to persevere my freedom because I've never had all my freedom taken away forever so I haven't experienced having to risk anything for freedom.

When I think of the word "freedom", the human natural right of liberty comes to mind. Freedom makes me think of the idea that you can make your own decisions and live life the way you want. The freedoms that are most valuable to me are the freedoms of being able to choose where you want to go in life, such as your future job, and the freedom of having a choice or a say in something. The freedom to make my own decisions is valuable because I hate being told what to do. I want to be able to do things for myself, not because someone tells me to. For the freedom of speech, I would be willing to risk things such as friends because I don't need "friends" to back up what I want to say, I can do it on my own. For the freedom to make my own decisions, I wouldn't give up as much because although I want to do one thing, I need to make sure I need to do the right thing and my choice might not be the right choice. Freedom is very important to a lot of people.

When I hear freedom, I think of a happy life. If you can't be free, then you will most likely have a difficult life, and probably not a happy one. You could make the best out of it, but still, you are not free. The freedoms most important to me are being able to live my life without people constantly watching me. That would probably sound very prissy and stuck up to someone who was a slave because all they want is to be truly set free and not be a slave. I wouldn't definitely risk my life for freedom, but I might. Freedom is happiness. Without being free, you can't live your own life and you are trapped.

When I hear the word freedom, I think about being away  from the entire world. The freedoms that are most important to me are being able to say what I want and being able to believe whatever I want to. I would risk my life for my freedom, because if there was no freedom, there would be nothing to live for.

When I hear the word freedom I think of being able to stand up for my beliefs. The most important freedoms are religion, speech, and education. If we didn't have freedom we would all have to follow one religion, we wouldn't be able to speak freely, and we wouldn't be able to have education. I would be willing to risk almost everything for my freedom because if I didn't have freedom I wouldn't be able to have all of my valuable things.

When I here the word freedom I think of the ability to do what ever I want.  Freedoms that i have are being able to talk to people.  This is called the freedom of speech and if I didn't have this I couldn't express myself in different ways.  Another freedom that i have is being able to have a family.  If I didn't have a family no one would be able to care for me and i would have a education like I do now.  If I didn't have the privilege of freedom I would be willing to give up my reputation.  I would do this because I can build a new one but the important thing is I would have freedom.

When I hear the word freedom I think of being able to do something without anyone judging you or doing something on your own. It's almost a privilege to have freedom because some people don't have any freedom. I would do anything for freedom because freedom is a something we should be able to live with. Without freedom we have no reason to live.

When I think of freedom I think of how we are able to do what we want. The freedoms that are most valuable to me being able to do what I want and not be forced around by other people. Another freedom that is valuable to me is freedom of speech such as being able to put your mind out and not just listen to others you can actually join in. In order to preserve my freedom I would I would try my hardest to save it but I wouldn't want to kill my self but if I really needed/ wanted my freedom I would risk my life for it.

When I hear the word freedom I think of the United States. In the United States your allowed to have freedom of speech, freedom of beliefs, and freedom to not be controlled besides government. The most valuable freedom to me would be the freedom of not being controlled because I don't want someone to push me around and tell me what to do. I would risk my property to preserve freedom. I would rather live on the streets than not have freedom.

When hearing the word freedom, I always think of rights, choices, and liberty. Rights are apart of freedom because they let people do what they would like to, choice goes along that because when having freedom there comes choices that people are able to make, and able to make their own choices instead of having someone else do that for them. Liberty is having that equality to be able to make choices and have rights. I would be willing to risk my life to preserve my own freedom or the freedom of others.

In my opinion freedom is responsibility because as you get older you people entrust you more to certain obligations. The freedoms that are most valuable to me would be being able to do things I want like ride my bike around to places and buying my own things.I would risk losing all my belongings  to see my sister every now and again

When I hear the word freedom I instantly think about what happen back in the older days with all the slavery. I think about what has happened to change that and what harsh things people did to people with different races. I think about how that life has changed over the years and how this world would be a very different place if slavery was still here over taking our world. It tell us that people have changed over the years since it happened and how it is a good thing that it is against the law to  have slaves in some states. When I think about how some states still allow there to be slaves it just hurts because of what people do to them and why they do it. If u could I would try to do anything to help the slaves because it is not right for people to be harshly treated and not be against the law. It is just wrong for people to be treated that way!!!!! When I hear the word freedom I think the world has no restrictions and everyone can do what ever they want to as long as it is safe. No body is different and no one should be treated differently.

When I hear the word freedom, I think of the freedoms that people have, and the freedoms that people have gotten taken away from them. For example, in the United States of America, we have the freedom to vote once you are over the age of 18. But on the other hand, immigrants don't have the freedoms we have because they are not citizens. Personally, the freedom that is most valuable to me is the freedom to speak my mind because that's what I always do. Without this freedom I would have limits to what I can and can not say and the would restrict me from having an opinion. To preserve my freedom, I would do whatever it takes because if I don't have my freedom, there would be nobody to talk or speak up for me. Without these freedoms, me life would be chosen for me and there would be no point of me living it if it is not what I want.

When hearing the word freedom, free speech is what I think of. Free speech is aloud to say what you want and not getting judged for it, because that's what you think. It's a person's right. Freedom makes me think of free speech because freedom is also a person's right, a person should be able to be be their own person. Freedom of speech would probably be the most valuable freedom to me because people should be able to say what they want to say without judgement. I would be willing to risk almost anything because it's wrong for people to judge others by what they think.

When I hear the word freedom, I think of a bird. Birds can fly anywhere they desire, without any boundaries or restraints, just like freedom. Freedom is like flying in the sky, where nothing can really hold you back, and you're, well, free to do what you want. The freedoms that are most valuable to me are being able to speak freely, live with a loving family, and choose what I want to be when I grow up. It might seem like it's not a big deal, but there are countries where no one has the right to speak their mind. There are kids who don't get to grow up with families who loved them, loves them, and always will love them. And there are people who don't get to pick what they want as a career when they grow up, because they don't get a chance to achieve that. That's why if those three freedoms were taken away from me, I would risk or even give my life to get them back. Because they're valuable, priceless, and important freedoms.
