Namaskaram,
Ordinary looking people taking Ishvara's call and doing extraordinary things.
I know this should not surprise us given the dharmic nature of the endeavour, and in its initial stage. But it should be noted that the education and boarding, etc. are all free for students. That tells us the people's earnestness and karma yoga. It is Vidya daanam.
Couple of questions
1. How must parents train their child from ages 1-5 if they wish to admit her at age 6+? Best to homeschool and avoid "pre-school"? Avoid Cinderella and Barbie? How to inculcate the right bhava as preparation for joining this gurukulam? I feel it is too much of a task to untrain a cluttered mind even after just 5 years and make it amenable to go to a school like this. Or am I mistaken?
2. Generally, is it ok for a child to be separated from the parents this early for long periods of time? Does it affect their bond or future relationship? Does it matter between boy and girl? What is the principle behind this "premature" separation and expected impact on dharmic society?
3. Unlike expected for Veda pathashala, I assume this Kanya gurukulam and its curriculum would not have shastra restrictions on which varnas can learn there. It seems, like with samskrita Bharathi, meant for all parents who wish their daughters to learn sanatana dharma knowledge in such an environment. (?)
