Dear Subbuji,
3 Pioneering
Research Monographs : Tantrasaṅgraha, Gaṇitayuktibhāṣa
and
Karaṇapaddhati, published so far contain several path breaking results in the history
of astronomy and mathematics.
Prof. K. Ramasubramanian is probably the right person, who can look into the Ayana-Chalana (precession of the
solstices and equinoxes", which is very vital for determining the dates of the Mahabharata war as well as the time
of Lord Ram. Because of not knowing the detailed calculations for determining the position of the Winter Solstice
(WS), Prof Srinvasa Raghavan could not find the right that ofthe Mahabharata war. Prof. Narahari Achar blindly
supported the wrong 3067 BCE date of Prof. Raghavan, as late Prof. Achar too blindly assumed a wrong date for
the WS in the year of the Mahabharata war. Some scholars like Dr. Jayasree saranathan, who published a book
on the date of the Mahabharata war, openly claims the absurd thing that Bhishma did not know when the WS
took place in the year of the Mahabharata war. In fact if he has time and desire Prof. K. Ramasubramanian should
look into the dating of the Mahabharata war.
In case you have the email-id of Prof. K. Ramasubramanian.you can please send that to me, so that I can send a
copy of this email to him.
Regards,
Sunil K B
