Sureswaracharya and definition of kalpita as used with avidyA

Namaste.

I had a discussion with AI on above topic.. The focus was on  interpreting the word kalpita if avidya is understood as  *absence of knowledge*. It includes a brief reference to the stand of many western scholars supporting the view of *absence of knowledge*. The discussion was mainly intended for my personal use. But I thought some others might also be interested and hence decided to post the same here as a PDF document which is attached. Somewhat longish, please excuse.
