I have just posted the final part (5 parts) of this ‘term and definition’. I began with a definition based upon my own understanding but then queried ChatGPT about an aspect of this and about an explanation of Gauḍapāda kārikā 3.28-31 from A. J. Alston’s ‘Śaṅkara on Creation’. I thought this was an interesting discussion (although ChatGPT showed its ‘inventiveness’ again) so I posted the entire discussion. It should be noted that, because of the complication introduced by involving AI, this T&D is really only relevant for fairly advanced seekers, I will continue with the ‘beginner to intermediate’ policy from the next definition. It even has a fair bit of Devanagari Sanscript in it. Sorry!
