Dear friends,
The article is nice. The Great Acharya Adi Shankaracharya was a Yuga-purusha, but we need not attribute the works of others to him. His position is beyond dispute for his works, on the Upanishads, Brahmasutra, on Yoga and on Lalita Trishati etc. There were other great stalwarts like Shri Abhinava Shankara and about ~ 500 years later Shri Vidyaranya Swami (1296-1386), too in the Advaita tradition. Abhinava Shankara wrote the Bhagavad Gitabhashya, in response to the Gita-bhashya of Bhaskaracharya and let us not deprive Abhinava Shankara of the credit due to him (Abhinava Shankara), just because we admire Adi Shankara as a great writer. Further, it is surprising that most of the Avaitins forget to mention that Adi Shankara wrote the Lalita Trishati Bhashya, at express advice of his param guru Gaudapadacharya, who also wrote a couple of books on the Tantra-shatra.
