Lineage and heritage: Tamilnadu Kerala Smartha Brahmin family + Deekshitar

Family background: A few among several include former Secretary and Managing Director of City Union Bank Advocate Mahalinga Iyer of Varagur Agraharam who was a representative of the Kanchi Kamakoti Peetham to the British Parliamentary Delegation in 1946 regarding certain clauses to be included in the Indian Constitution, a former President of Raja Veda Kavya Pathashala Kumbakonam, and Dr C L Ramakrishnan IPS, retired DGP, Vigilance and Anti-Corruption, Pattabhi - who served Jagadguru Sri Chandrasekharendra Sarawati VIII as a personal attendant for decades including until the former's interment.
