We made it back to Virginia Beach on July 1st by medical transport. Richard was taken to Virginia Beach Healthcare and Rehab where he spent 11 days. On the 12th day, he got very sick and was transported to Sentara Virginia Beach General Hospital. He was treated there for pneumonia, bladder infection and a small heart attack. He had the best care there for 14 days. He is looking much better but is still very weak. He was transfered today to HER(Hospital for Extended Recovery) located at Sentara Norfolk General Hospital, where they will continue his medical care and also start rehab again.

Wow, Richard and Nicole can't get a break. I suspect that many of
you, like myself, have been thinking of Richard, but have been a bit
afraid to ask. He sure has the fight in him. In our prayers and much
thanks for the update.
